Teijin Frontier (Hong Kong) Ltd, being a member of the Teijin Group, has a paid-up capital of HKD21.6 million and was first incorporated in Hong Kong in 1970.

The company is principally engaged in the manufacturing and trading of apparel, textiles, and industrial material products with a total turnover of HKD765 million in 2013.

At the start, the company was named Teijin Shoji (Hong Kong) Ltd and later changed the name to N.I. Teijin Shoji (Hong Kong) Ltd in 2001 due to merging of the holding company, Teijin Shoji Co. Ltd with Nissho Iwai Apparel Co. Ltd in the same year.

As the company holding company, N.I. Teijin Shoji Co. Ltd again merged with the apparel unit of Teijin Fibers Limited to form a new Teijin Frontier Co. Ltd in October 2012. The company hence further changed the name to Teijin Frontier (Hong Kong) Ltd in January 2013 accordingly.

In order to strengthen the competitive power and creating added value, the company merged with Teijin Hong Kong Ltd, one of the affiliated companies of the Teijin group in April 2013 and the company name remains unchanged.
